Franca Fitouts Pty Ltd (trading as FRANCA FITOUTS, "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use and store it, and how you can access, correct or ask us to delete it.
Information We Collect
We collect personal information that you provide directly to us, including when you:
- Submit the project enquiry form on this website — which may include your name, company name, email address, phone number, project address or suburb, project type, estimated budget, estimated timeline and a description of your project;
- Contact us by phone or email;
- Otherwise correspond with us about a project, quote or general enquiry.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive information (as defined under the Privacy Act) through this website, and we ask that you not include sensitive information in enquiry forms or correspondence unless it is directly relevant and necessary to your enquiry.
How We Use Your Information
We use the personal information we collect to:
- Respond to your enquiry and provide quotes, proposals or project information you have requested;
- Communicate with you about your project, including scheduling, site visits and ongoing works;
- Maintain business records, including for accounting, insurance and legal purposes;
- Improve this website and our services.
We do not use your personal information for unrelated marketing without your consent, and we do not sell personal information to third parties.
How Your Information Is Handled
When you submit the project enquiry form on this website, your submission is sent directly to our business email via FormSubmit (a third-party form-processing service) and is not stored in any separate database by this website. This website is hosted on Vercel, and form submissions may be processed on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States, as part of these providers' infrastructure. By submitting the form, you consent to this overseas handling of your enquiry for the purpose of it being delivered to us.
Cookies & Analytics
This website does not currently use cookies, analytics or advertising tracking technologies. If we introduce tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking or similar services in future, we will update this policy to describe what is collected and how it is used.
Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain personal information collected through this website for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and to fulfil the purposes described above, including any record-keeping periods required by law (for example, under taxation or consumer protection legislation), after which it is deleted or de-identified where practicable.
Your Rights & How to Contact Us
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask questions about how your information has been handled, by contacting us at francafitouts@gmail.com or 0422 444 380. If you believe we have not handled your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act and are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
